We're with the band...
Really, there are no words for how amazing last night was. None. But, I will try. Last night I went to a FREE Snow Patrol concert. Seriously, FREE. That really should give you an idea of how great my night was. But it gets better. They played at a tiny place. So we were right there in front of them. Really we were in the perfect spot. Close enough to see everything, but not so close that sweat was dripping on us. I am not a fan of sweat. Anyways, they sounded amazing, sang all the songs I like(which really wasn't hard to do), and added in some humor, and the accent. Can it get any better? YES. When you get to meet the band. Which we did. I have the picture to prove it. I keep laughing in my head today about the whole experience. When we got up there Holly called us cougars. I am 33. I am NOT a cougar. I am pretty sure we are the same age as the band (excluding the chubby little garden gnome keyboard player). She was hilarious. They now know that she is about to turn 40 and has 4 kids. And she asked to shake Gary's hand (I can call him that, I have the green wristband to prove it).
The whole night reminded me of my college days. Lisa, Jill, and I were at concerts at least once a week. I loved that time of my life. We really were awesome.
But back to last night. It was the perfect evening. Great music. Great company. Free tickets. There are no more words.

I love that one of your labels is "cougars". Which we clearly ARE NOT. It was one of my best concerts EVER. btw, that picture of me is hideous. Beyond hideous. so now we are even.
Oh, no not even at all. I asked you not to put it up. You did not ask me not to. But, if you would like me to I will remove it. THAT is the kind of friend I am.
I removed the picture! Now take yours down.
I had to put it up...I wanted to show everyone proof we met the band!
