Spring Break
This year for Spring Break we headed up to the cabin in Chino Valley. Just the moms and the kids. The moms were hugely out numbered, like 3 moms(Holly, Sheri, and me) and 12 kids.It was actually lots of fun.
On the way up we took a "shortcut". It added about 2 hours onto our trip. So we went to Chino Valley by way of Jerome. So glad we took the shortcut. We ate lunch at the Haunted Hamburger. Which wasn't haunted. Except for the ghosts in the window. Then the kids played on an old playground, with slides like I remember as a kid. Metal, and crazy tall, and a little dangerous. Loads of fun.
Once we finally made it to the cabin we did a little shooting. And immediately a little gangster came out in all the kids. Some more than others.
We were there for 4 days. It was nice to get away. We did a little hiking, a little crafting, played some games, and ate. On the way home we stopped in Prescott. We ate at a pizza place Jill told us about. It was shockingly good.
